Volunteering builds community! There is much work to be done, please consider joining one of these committees, which may meet on occasion, or simply offer whatever time you can share to one of the coordinators. Please contact the Coordinator or any Board member for more information.
For 2013 we have formed the following committees. We are working towards centralizing/sharing processes to improve efficiencies:
Uniform and Equipment Committee (Heather Stanga Coordinator)
Responsible for forecasting uniform and equipment needs, distribution, pickup and inventory.
Fields Committee (Nate Adams Coordinator)
Responsible for oversight of day to day field operations, as well as forecasting maintenance needs, future improvement, plans for expansion.
Referee Committee (Bob Williams Coordinator)
It is important that we ensure the highest quality experience for our referees, especially since many of them are our kids. We will be implementing a new online scheduling system as well as the PACT program to assist us.
Jesse James Tournament Committee (Greg Wesling Coordinator)
Coordinator responsible for coordinating efforts of planning and executing the Tournament in June. Coordinator will also serve as the liaison for other MYSA hosted events, i.e. Kohls Cup/TOPSoccer.
Traveling Program Committee (Doug Seymour Coordinator)
Coordinator responsible for oversight of our Traveling Program. Responsible for the Traveling Managers, try-outs and evaluations, as well as coordination with the other committees and Director of Coaching, i.e. uniforms, fields, referees, marketing.
Inhouse Program (Todd Scheuble Coordinator)
Coordinator responsible for oversight of our Inhouse Program. Responsible for the organization of the program as well as coordination with the other committees and Director of Coaching, i.e. uniforms, fields, referees, marketing.
Marketing/Community Relations/Communications (Open Position)
Coordinator responsible for the promotion of the NSA and it’s various programs. Communications with the community at large as well as the membership.
We are in the process of evaluating proposals and will be communicating the results as we continue through the process.
The NSA would welcome someone to help with the coordination of Fundraising opportunities. We are wanting to provide more development training opportunities to our players and interested in finding creative ways to fund them.
We are in need of someone to be responsible for the updating and enhancement of the NSA website. If this is something you are interested in or if you know of someone(s) who may be a good candidate, please contact the Club President, or one of the Board Members.
