About the Academy
We created the Academy Program to better meet the needs of players in transition between our In-House and Traveling Programs. This program is designed specifically to bridge this transition. Players at this age benefit most from opportunities that build their technical ability.
- The Academy program is led by veteran coach Gabe Kortuem.
- These sessions are designed to provide players with significant time with the ball, under the supervision of skilled coaches who are providing feedback and guidance in the moment on technical skills and team play.
- Academy sessions will also be supplemented with scrimmages and or games with nearby community teams ("friendlies").
- We offer two separate sessions each year: Spring/Summer and Fall.
Academy ages are U9 (birth year 2014) & U10 (birth year 2013) players. Players born in 2015 (U8) may choose to self select to participate in Academy soccer. Note that soccer age groups change each fall.
2023 SPRING/SUMMER ACADEMY
Registration for the spring/summer season will open in the spring of 2023.
The Academy season begins in late April and concludes in early July. We typically meet on Mondays and Thursdays at the Spring Creek Soccer Complex for the first three weeks and add a third day for the remainder of the season to accommodate friendly games.
Please contact Tammy Seymour at email@example.com to learn more or request a scholarship. Scholarship recipients do not have to make any copayments at the time of registration.
